Abstract

The mention of the Hyperboreans in the Epigoni.
In the contribution, the following hypotheses about the obscure mention ofthe Hyperboreans in the Epigoni are proposed: a) the mention is related to the Hyperboreans’ annual offerings that were sent to Delos and b) it isassociated with the final part of the poem and the foundation of the city ofHestiaea in Euboea.
