Marius Untersteiner as Epicurus’ exegete

This paper examines Mario Untersteiner’s exegesis of some Epicurean passages of the Letter to Herodotus, in particular §§ 46-47, taking as a starting point an interesting article of Untersteiner about the text of the Letter (1930), which has received very little attention by the scholars.
