Abstract
Late antique burials in Tuscany (III-VI cent. AD): objects and inscriptionsThis paper deals with the evidence relating to the funerary world inTuscany in Late Antiquity (especially between 3rd and 6th century AD),focusing on grave goods and inscriptions that accompany the dead.These elements allow us to assess the profound changes occurred inthe practices which relate to the funerary sphere between the Imperialperiod and the Early Middle Ages and which reflect broader changes inthe social and cultural field.
