UNA CONGETTURA AD ARISTOFANE, VESPE 1509

Abstract

The paper focusses on a passage of Aristophanes, Wasps 1509 and in particular on the reading ᾿Ὀξὶς ἢ ϕάλαγξ; (‘a vinegar cruet or a spider?'), which the Author suggests to emend into ᾿Ὀξὶν᾽ ἢ ϕάλαγξ; (‘a harrow or a spider?').
