Ancora sulle cosiddette gentes adtributae. Esegesi di Plin. Nat. Hist. III, 133-134
Abstract
Again on the generic meaning of adtribuo in texts concerning Roman municipalities. In a well-known passage, Plinius the Elder includes Trumplini and Camunni among the adtributi finitimis municipis in northern Italy. The analysis of the sources, nevertheless, demonstrates that the administrative conditions through which these two populations were admitted to the territory of the colony of Brixia were different.
